Thanks for your send. 

Few comments on it. 

5'49" it shows a Zeke shoot down. In fact pilot OKAZUKI Yasutchi was damaged at that time, the pilot landed safely, plane repairs in the hour then flown back to Rabaul later on (PM). This is the onliest Japanese Zero out that morning. 

Barber was strongly engaged when attacking the first Betty (Yamamoto) propeller damaged, left compressor as well. 

During the second Betty attack, Hine fire was to high (coming  from P40 few days before, he was not really trained and skill with P38), only Holmes success. The Betty was badly damaged  not destroyed. Pilot was trying to reach the coast near a seaplane base. Hine was engaged, other Us pilots, reported he was damaged on Left (not right as shown). 
Barber run to the second Betty and fire on it. Then the Betty exploded few meters above the see damaging Barber plane on right engine and pilot gondola.

Old story... 

Really a nice box, plenty of details, should be a great one... Special value concerning P.E. and stencils.



PVC may be too dark but great quality.

Do not tease me to much about the P38
Since our exchange about it the bug are very strong about it
After my Ho229 I said to my self to not do another plane (take to much place) but the Tamiya P38 it is your fault, your fault I blame you 100%

Don't know how you say in Canada, in France we say "Blanc comme Neige" - White as snow.

Was talking with a friend a few mount ago he was surprise when I show him about the problem fighter pilot did have about convergence of fire for the gun in the wing, problem you did not have with a Mosquito, Me 210-410-610 or P38 having the gun in the nose and firing strait. Il was also a great advantage for the Me109, Fw190 having a gun firing true the propeller nose

For sure, but Mosquito wasn't really a fighter, an ground attack okay, fighter not. Me 210/410 so few, and mainly fir allied bomber stick attack made. Even Bf110 wasn't a fighter. 

P-38, is the onliest fighter you list but even like  that, in Europe P38 was used to protect bomber on long range flight and/or ground attack like Mosquito. 
You'll say in Pacific, Bong, Mc Clure ...

Next Engine and Propeller...

Well we will agreed to disagreed
All depend of the definition of what is a fighter (light or heavy fighter) and the use that was make of them
Take the Dutch Fokker G.1A that plane for the Dutch was considered as a heavy fighter
Other example was the Japanese Kawasaki Ki-102A use as a heavy interceptor fighter.

Yep, speaking about Ki 102, it was dedicated to US bomber... Sorry but I don't know one double engine fighter, totally used as fighter such as single engine like Spit, Me 109, FW190, P51... 
As I said, P38 only but don't forget P38 rapidly used as ground attack, Wehrmacht call it "der tzweiteufelschwantzgabel" more or less "The two tell Devil'. Luftwaffe had no special call for it.
